The New England Chapter of the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE-NE) 2014/2015 program year kicks off on Wednesday September 10th at the Embassy Suites hotel in Waltham, MA with a discussion on the state of the solar industry in Massachusetts. Networking with industry professionals starts at 5:30 p.m. followed by dinner and program at 6:30 p.m. “We are extremely excited about our lineup of meetings and speakers this year” said Sam Nutter AEE-NE’s incoming president. “Last year we had record breaking attendance and expect to continue this trend with relevant topics such as the rapid growth of the solar industry in Massachusetts” added Sam. About the meeting
Massachusetts solar photovoltaic (PV) installations have dramatically increased in size and numbers in recent years. Currently there are thousands of PV installations in MA totaling over 560 MW of installed capacity. The PV industry in MA includes dozens of PV firms that design, finance, and/or install systems of all sizes. In this session, attendees with learn about the policies and incentives that have driven the MA PV boom.
