Exhibitor Highlights from Globalcon / JETRO
Since the devastating earthquake and tsunami known to the world as the “Great East Japan Earthquake”, Japan has focused more on renewable and sustainable energy technologies. With this in mind, JETRO (Japan External Trade Organization), as Japan’s governmental organization to promote inward investment to Japan, is working towards expressing the opportunities and advantages the country can create for US companies with business interests in Japan. Our mission to provide full service assistance for a company to establish an office in Japan has never been more important than today, as the country is working towards the recovery from the disaster and building eco-friendly towns or cities in Japan.
The decision to exhibit at GLOBALCON was made so that our presence can be reached to those companies who are not familiar with our organization and the vast services we offer at no cost. The attendance at GLOBALCON has given us the chance to promote our name and provide assistance to those that look to explore business opportunities in Japan. We were able to obtain leads from companies within the vicinity of New York and plan on continuing to support them with information and consultation. The current energy industry in Japan is moving at a quick pace and it is our mission to update US companies with information by engaging in conferences and exhibiting at trade shows such as GLOBALCON.
