The process of fitting new technology systems, usually computerized, into the day-to-day operations of a given enterprise is referred to as system integration. The process involves both the installation and configuration of hardware and software, plus any analysis or diagnostic procedures which may be needed to insure the integrity and/or efficiency of the installed system.
