Energy
Dictionary

supplier, electric supplier

Any company, individual or organization that sells electricity to customers through its own transmission and distribution facilities or through another company's facilities. A supplier can be anything from a large-scale energy marketer working on behalf of a major production facility to a rural co-op that provides energy to a small collection of farms and villages. Suppliers are not necessarily producers of energy, but rather individuals or entities capable of delivering energy to the customer requiring the supply.
