condenser

In electrical generation, it refers to a device which draws heat from a gas (usually water vapor) causing the gas to be changed to its liquid state. Condensers are common devices in many industries and are not confined to energy production.

In automotive electronics, a condenser is a device designed to regulate the flow of electricity in the ignition system. It serves a function similar to that of a capacitor, and has nothing to do with an automobile's cooling system.
