Join the Yardi Energy sales team to make the built environment more productive, efficient and effective! We are developing and selling very innovative software that will change how buildings and the grid work.

The Regional Director, Yardi Energy will be responsible for leading a team of sales professionals to develop sales opportunities for Yardi Energy.

The product focus includes:
Yardi LOBOS, Yardi Utility Expense Management, Yardi E2 Insight, Yardi PowerShopping, Yardi Utility Billing, Proliphix and Pulse Energy. These products make up an exciting effort by Yardi to help its clients dramatically reduce their energy consumption and improve their sustainability profile.

The Regional Director will be responsible for the following:
• Hiring, leading, training and mentoring sales professionals specific to an assigned territory within the market
• Working collectively and individually with the sales team in support of meeting assigned sales goals through the development of sales territories, sales strategies and pricing strategies
• Working collaboratively with other Yardi Energy Regional Directors to share best practices and strategize on meeting organizational sales goals for the Yardi Energy business unit
• Connect with client executives to present the Yardi Smart Energy Suite to further the sales process
• Manage and sell to an assigned group of top level prospects
• Assist in the development of marketing collateral, messaging and proposals
• Serve as an industry expert representing Yardi at industry expositions and trade show events
• Provide monthly/quarterly/annual sales forecasts, current prospect funnels, and accurate status reports on current and new account development for your team
• Provide client feedback on products and services for internal review by management and product development
• Travel to client sites to participate in meetings, RFP processes, presentations and account reviews

The successful candidate will have the following character attributes:
• Bachelor’s Degree and/or equivalent experience
• Prior experience in Energy and/or Sustainability
• Prior experience effectively managing a sales team in dispersed geographic locations
• 7+ years of successful sales experience managing and developing large sales territories
• Demonstrated track record of developing net new territories and successfully achieving assigned sales goals
• Demonstrated success leading and developing a sales team and working collaboratively with other sales managers, marketing and product development
• Consultative sales approach and prior experience selling at the C-level
• Ability to develop and maintain outstanding client relationships
• Solid experience uncovering and qualifying sales opportunities, developing proposals and presenting to prospects/clients
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Must have strong presentation skills, an assertive, engaging personality, and a demonstrated record of generating results
• Must be a self-starter, goal-oriented and be able to function remotely with little direction
• High degree of professionalism and ability to understand and demonstrate technical products
• A background in enterprise software sales is high desirable
• Real estate industry experience is preferred but not required
• Regular attendance and a regular work schedule is an essential function of this job
