Oklahoma City Community College is Seeking an Energy Manager

The Energy Manager works under the direction of the Executive Director of Facilities Management as assigned, to establish accountability for energy consumption at every level on campus. The Energy Manager is responsible for developing and monitoring the OCCC Energy Conservation Program as approved pursuant to OCCC Board of Regents policy governance and the OCCC President’s guidelines for the purpose of reducing utility consumption.

Basic areas of responsibility include: administration and record keeping accountability, reporting, program implementation, promoting campus employee involvement, and validating the building automation system compliance to the Energy Conservation Program guidelines and best practices.

The candidate must have an independent work ethic, good judgement capabilities, have the ability to maintain positive public relations, and must be persuasive. The candidate must be computer literate, be able to interpret technical data, and demonstrate an ability to communicate with technical and non-technical individuals.

Placement Range: $48,400 - $54,000

Benefits Include: 12 days of accrued vacation and sick leave; 4 days of accrued personal leave; 17 paid holidays; insurance and retirement.
